Loki, also known as Lukman, was found beside a highway: a tiny, bedraggled puppy who had apparently been hit by a vehicle. He had spent hours trying to drag himself to safety using only his front legs.
Thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of people passed him and carried on. Just one person stopped to help.

After two days in hospital, sweet Lukman came to the farm. He is named after the wonderful man who stopped for him, and we are deeply grateful to his rescuer. Ever since arriving, Lukman has received all the support and love he needs.
Here at the farm, he receives close monitoring, help with urination, walking and feeding, and, above all, support in learning to trust people again.
