Tzvika arrived with Malka, two innocent baby donkeys who had already experienced neglect and deprivation in their short lives. Rescuing them from their abusive owner was extremely difficult.

When they reached the farm, we discovered that Malka's health problems were serious and complex. She received special food and all the love we could give her, around the clock. Sadly, after months of fighting for her life, our Malka collapsed and died.
Her brother Tzvika, who had stayed close and constantly checked that his little sister was all right, was left alone.

Today he is part of a large, loving family that will keep giving him safety and affection. Tzvika is a lovely, friendly, gentle donkey, and we are fortunate to be able to give him the best possible life.

We are happy to share an update: another donkey, a female who had suffered severe abuse, has since arrived at the farm. She and Tzvika fell in love at first sight and have been inseparable ever since.
