Welcome to the Farm!
Keren Or Farm is a haven for both animals and humans. It is home to hundreds of animals who have been rescued from lives of neglect, abandonment or abuse, aiming to give them good lives, free from suffering or exploitation. The farm is also a host for Hilly Solomon Center for Animal Assisted Psychotherapy based on the relational approach.

Our Residents
The farm is home to hundreds of animals of various kinds - domestic animals, farm animals, and wild animals that cannot be released back into nature. The animals are rescued and brought to our rehabilitation farm from many different places and sources. Some are survivors of the food or entertainment industries, some were rescued from petting zoos, research laboratories, and other facilities, and some came from ordinary people just like you and I, who chose to abandon, harm, run over, beat, neglect, or trade them. Every single animal has a story.
Tours at the Farm
We love having visitors at the farm.
During our guided tours, led by our wonderful volunteers, you’ll be taken on a moving and inspiring journey filled with rescue stories and tales of survival, that open the heart and offer a glimpse into the lives of our beloved residents. And the added value - every ticket purchased for a tour is a donation to the farm, helping us continue to care for animals and people who need it, and to keep this special place up and running.
Volenteering at the Farm
Our Farm operates almost entirely thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. Dozens of animal lovers attend the farm almost 24/7 to help provide for all its needs: from animal care (cleaning, feeding, walking, playing, providing medical care and showering - with love) to handling all the farm’s maintenance, cleaning, mending and construction tasks. Even various professional services, such as accounting, legal and marketing services, are provided to the farm by volenteers. We all have become one big family, who shares a common goal - to provide a haven for rescued animals and to people in need of various forms of emotional solace.
Hilly Solomon Treatment Center
The Farm is home to the Hilly Solomon Treatment Center, offering Animal Assisted Therapy tailored to those facing significant challenges — including PTSD and other mental health issues, at risk youth, Holocaust survivors, and victims of abuse. The treatment is based on the transformative Mutual Rehabilitation approach - A groundbreaking approach in psychotherapy that focuses on the natural and emotional bond between humans and animals as an integral part of the healing process. In the aftermath of the October 7th terror attack and the Iron Swords War, Keren Or Farm has expanded its therapeutic and rehabilitation services to support both people and animals in need.
