Tutu

Two years ago I was thinking of adopting a small dog.

I wanted it to be this size, so that it could sit on the knees of patients in wheelchairs.
After two weeks I decided I wanted it to be black, to teach the kids that black does not mean different from white, and that there is no justification for statistics that say there are more adoptions of white dogs than black.
Two weeks later I was sitting in a car in a traffic jam, and suddenly I see someone throwing out a training cage for a brand new little dog. I decided it was! That's a sign!
And here they are in another two weeks and I am sitting in a classroom (student of education and rehabilitation through animals) enters the classroom The college secretary tells in disappointment that someone left his dog tied to a tree in a leash and he howls there non-stop._ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
Of course an entire class wanted downstairs to see what had happened and everyone saw a small, black lump howling horribly, exhausting its last forces.
We met there a poor little puppy, cooking for him at the height of August in the sun._ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
Water of course left him no, who knows how long he was there tied to a tree.
Leave a food bag next to it, only the bag expired 4 years ago and it was blown up with worms._ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
Apparently they did not want to invest in a strap and collar so they took a matchmaker and an old belt and fastened the collar and strap around his neck.
I took the little one to the vet and from there we left with a piece of list. Critical and severe dehydration, tick fever, insane thinness, huge belly blown with worms, and most of all a lot, a lot of bad.
Everyone who saw him told me to give it up, and give it to the association, this dog really requires too much "work".
The pizza went through a sea of treatments and then the difficulties at home began.
He tore up new sofas from the store, scratched all the doors in my house, tossed lintels, chewed furniture, and what not? Of course everyone told me enough, it's time to figure out when to give up.
Worst of all, the traumatic little one kept screaming horrible screams every time I left the house. The little one who was so afraid of being left alone, so afraid that I would not return to him and abandon him like his previous owner.
They invited me to the police, threats on doors, frustrated neighbors and even moving house. (Which included huge payments to the landlord for the destruction left behind by the puppy). And even then of course not everyone understood, for what ?? Give it to the association already!
But I did not agree to give it up. I saw the painful and sad soul. We went through a series of education, treatments and lots of love.
And here he is today, the good, funny, loyal, loving, helping and with a sea of giving soul.
I have no words to describe the baboon. Every morning he waits for me by the bed, when the alarm clock starts he immediately jumps on me with lots of love.
If an animal escapes in a living area, he is the first to find her and call me to take care of her.
He makes the kids insanely funny in his circus performances and leaves me speechless for his wisdom day after day._ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
I called Pizzi Toto.
And today? The two-year-old pizza and the truth? Can't think of a day without him.
True, this is not always easy. But worth every little moment, to be there in his life.
